Background
During my two years at the small food company Mush, I served as the in-house designer, responsible for creating a wide range of creative content. My tasks included everything from designing social media posts and emails to producing product renderings and photography. Additionally, I developed Amazon listings, brand stores, banner ads, in-store print materials, presentation materials, and packaging.
Emails
At MUSH, I designed a variety of emails for different customer journeys, including notifications for subscription deals, seasonal flavors, abandoned cart reminders, and location-based product availability. Each email adhered to the brand's visual guidelines and incorporated either eye-catching GIFs, or imagery to engage consumers. We also utilized A/B testing to optimize email flows and improve performance.

Banner Ads

I frequently created banner ads for platforms like Amazon, designed to engage consumers directly on-site and encourage shopping. The examples above highlight my skills in designing for A/B testing, as well as Photoshopping products for visual consistency. For instance, the vanilla flavor shown didn’t exist, so I created it to match the existing blueberry imagery, ensuring the compositions remained uniform during testing without disrupting the visual flow.

Social Posts
I designed numerous Instagram posts for MUSH, all adhering to a cohesive visual style while maintaining uniqueness. The consistency ensured the posts looked polished on the nine grid layout, while the distinct elements in each post helped them stand out and grab the attention of users scrolling through their feeds.
Product Renderings
While working at MUSH, we lacked product renderings for our updated packaging.
I led a project to design renderings that could be used across various marketing and creative materials. A key focus was ensuring the renderings could stack and interact just as they would on a store shelf, which I successfully incorporated into the designs, as demonstrated here.

Amazon Brand Store

After designing all of MUSH's Amazon listings, I created their brand store along with its various pages and sections. It was essential to make the store both visually compelling and easy for consumers to navigate, setting it apart from other brands. We ensured the store featured shoppable opportunities, highlighted product benefits and "free-from" claims, and included a balanced mix of product renderings, lifestyle imagery, and product photography.

Image Photoshopping
I did a lot of photoshopping and image creation while at Mush. Carrot Cake was a limited time seasonal flavor. Mush did not have any photography of the product, so I used an existing Blueberry image to create the Carrot Cake photo seen. This image was used in emails, printouts, and social media posts.
